Sira Vegas - Computing School at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Spain
Sira Vegas is professor of Software Engineering with the Computing School at Madrid ’s Technical University (UPM), Spain . She was a summer student at the European Centre for Nuclear Research ( Geneva ) in 1995. She was a regular visiting scholar of the Experimental Software Engineering Group at the University of Maryland from 1998 to 2000, and visiting scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute of Experimental Software Engineering in Germany in 2002. Dr. Vegas is the UPM’s second representative at the ISERN. She is program chair for the International Symposium on Empirical Software Engineering and Measurement (ESEM) to be held in 2007.

Oscar Dieste - Computing School at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Spain
Oscar Dieste is researcher in the Empirical Software Engineering Group at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Previously, he has been Fulbright Scholar at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and assistant professor at Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Universidad Alfoso X El Sabio. His research interests are requirements engineering and empirical methods in software engineering He has a PhD in Computing by Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha and a degree in computing by Universidad de La Coruña.

Martín Solari - ORT University, Uruguay
Martín Solari is an associate professor in the Software Engineering Department at ORT University Uruguay. He has an extensive experience in software consulting He has a BS in Computing. He is researching his PhD about.. He has been in academia since 2000 and now he is a member of a research group that focuses on software testing and empirical software engineering. Since 2004 Martín is a doctoral student with the Empirical Software Engineering group at the Technical University of Madrid. His doctoral project is aimed at proposing a laboratory packages that improves replication of SE experiments.

Anna Grimán Padua - Simón Bolívar University, Venezuela
Anna Grimán Padua is Associate Professor of information systems and software engineering with the Process and Systems department at Simón Bolívar University in Venezuela. She has a BS in Computing and a MSc. in Information Systems. Since 1997 she is a researcher member and software quality and methodology consultant with the Information Systems Research Laboratory. Since 2006 Anna is a doctoral student with the Empirical Software Engineering group at the Technical University of Madrid. Her doctoral project is aimed at proposing a review process of empirical studies in software engineering.

Enrique Fernandez - Buenos Aires Institute of Technology, Argentina
Enrique Fernandez is Assistant Professor at Buenos Aires Institute of Technology. He has a Master Degree in Software Engineering from the Technical University of Madrid. Since 2005 Enrique is a doctoral student with the Empirical Software Engineering group at the Technical University of Madrid. His doctoral project is aimed at proposing a combination of aggregation methods for SE experiments.

Omar S. Gómez - Computing School at the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), Spain
Omar S. Gómez has a Bs in Computing and a MSc in Software Engineering both by the Universidad de Guadalajara, México. Since 2007 he is a doctoral student with the Empirical Software Engineering group at the Technical University of Madrid. His doctoral project is aimed at getting knowledge items from differentiated replications.

Ramón Garcia-Martinez - Buenos Aires Institute of Technology, Argentina
Ramón Garcia-Martinez is Full Professor at Buenos Aires Institute of Technology. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Technical University of Madrid. His research interests are data mining and empirical methods in software engineering
